Well, I made the mistake of getting my floor from Lumber Liquidators. I put down about 600 sq ft of their Schon African Santos. The floor does look great, but I am up the creek as far as my reducers and t-molding goes. It's no secret that their customer service sucks to put it lightly. I can't find a website for Schon, but I don't think they make transition pieces for their A.S.
Does anyone know where I can get either matched transition pieces.. or custom stained.. or even unfinihsed and I will stain my self. I've tried many of the local flooring stores in my area along with the hardware stores, and no luck. It's been almost 9 months now with the floor down, and it still isn't finished!!
Thanks,
Jason

Jason, I'm surprised that none of your local flooring companies don't sell unfinished reducers, threshholds, t-molding etc.. I have bought several pieces of unfinished threshhold from a place called (Oak Flooring) in Atlanta, actually it's in Doraville. I don't know if they sell online, or even have a website. I did have to drive to three or four different stores before I found one who would sell it unfinished, but at around $6.00 for a 6 to 7 foot piece verses $30.00 for a finished piece at H.D. it was worth it. Look in your local phone book for more flooring stores. Good Luck

Thanks Jon. I know.. I am surprised at how difficult it is to find what I need locally. I've done some research on unifinshed pieces online with similar luck. Almost sounds like this would be a great business opportunity, as I'm sure there are others who must be having similar problems finding the pieces they need!
