We just took off an old deck and the stucco under where it had been attached is broken off etc. We are in the process of repairing it and have the scratch coat on. We have begun to wonder if we can just do the rest of the repair with concrete since we will be putting on a new deck and this area will be covered and we don't need it to match the walls of the house. If we can do the concrete, is it okay to apply over our scratch coat of stucco?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Concrete has 3/8" aggergate, which will make it very hard to trowel on. If you mean can you use pre-mixed mortar mix, yes you can.
