Bricks, Masonry, Asphalt and Concrete - How do I fix a leaking brick wall? Thoroseal?

Hi everyone, I need advice with fixing up my brick wall.
Recently when it rains I've been getting leaks on my ceiling.
I believe the water is coming through my brick wall because I notice there are a lot of cracks on the outside.

I've done some research and I believe I should use thoroseal?

Heres what I think I need to do.

- Mix a 50 lb bag of Thoroseal with 2 gallons of water.

- Use Acryl 60 (2 quarts)
- Mix with 3 parts water (6 quarts)

- Mix Thoroseal mixture with Acryl 60 mixture

- Use a roller to paint my walls

Is this correct? And what should I use to fill the cracks? Is there anything I need to do to prep the wall?

Another question! Am I suppose to use that much water? 3.5 gallons total? Won't it be too thin?

It would be rather odd to have water from a leaking brick wall coming through your ceiling. Have you checked your roof?

Its a 3 story building and the problem is on the 2nd floor near the brick wall =/

If the leaking isn't coming from the walls, I just noticed the condition of the wall. The cement holding the bricks together is wearing away. Is the way I described the way to fix this?

It can be, but you will no longer have a brick wall, you will have a stucco-ish wall and if there are live cracks, the cracks will simply mirror through the thoroseal. A better solution would be to fix any problems causing the wall to crack(if it is), re-point the mortar and apply a clear sealer like Prime-A-Pel 200.

The problem causing the cracks is weathering over the years.

I want to try your solution, what is re-pointing the mortar?

What should I fill the cracks with?

If it is weathering cracks, they are probably dead and will not mirror.
