It's a long story.
Is it possible to remove a raised frame around the glass of metal exterior door and replace it with a flat frame?
Have an ODL enclosed blind add on that is supposed to hang flush mounted with the door (a slightly older version that is not sold currently on the ODL). It will work fine if I didn't have a raised panel around the glass on the door.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide. (My husband didn't like my "let's try the chisel and see what happens" plan of attack.)

Welcome to the forums! The molding around the glass in the door holds the glass in, and removing it will leave a large gap. Unless you have some really good shop tools, replicating the molding will be a bear. Just for info, you can pop out the screw plugs, undo the screws and remove one half of the molding (carefully). You can see what you will be up against. Post back if we can help further.
