I live in a 2 bedroom condo and have decorated my home with an earthy feel (earthtone colors, dark wood and leather furniture). We have mirrored closet doors, 2 sets in our main bedroom and 1 set in our second bedroom which we are trying to give an office feel to. I am looking to somehow cover the mirrored doors without replacing them for cost savings. I am looking for ideas and also wondering if it is possible to glue very thin wood pieces to the mirror, then staining the wood. Please let me know if anyone has tried this or any other idea.

If you can cut 1/8" luan to fit the mirror and glue it to the glass it will give a warmer look, but long term, I would replace the door system if you want to change the total look. You could also buy sheer cloth, gather it together and attach rods at the top and bottom frame to hold it taught. May look better than wood.

You can apply the cling on translucent window film to eliminate the reflection. This can be done with minimal effort and you can remove at time of resale with mirrors intact.
