I have a Sony KPR-53EX35 TV. It was working great but now there is no picture. Just a black screen with great sound. So now I have a great big radio. Could somebody possibly tell me what the problem could be. I checked the cable connection seems to be fine. Don't know what it could be other then it is just an old TV. Thanks.

Find yourself a local repair person that does house calls. My guy Timothy does them for free, but his kind aren't so prominent any longer. Even if it costs you a few bucks it's better than loading up your big TV and taking it to some guy.

BDizzle, thanks you definitely got that right. I can't just pick that clunker up and bring it to the local TV repairman. LOLOL Funny thing the other day I decided to turn it on and the picture came on but it was like looking at double vision. Now again I have no picture. LOLOL Actually my house was being done over so it came in the house before the house was closed up so if it doesn't work it is going out by way of sleg hammer. LOLOL Thanks again. Martha
