I am starting to lay a wood laminate froor in my dining roo, which is next to Living room, which is sunkin. We have purchased stair noses to put on the step down, now my question would be do I start with the stairnose and work my way back to the wall or start at the wall and work my way to step? The reason I am asking is because the stair nose doesnt look like it should be cut to line up with the rest of the floor. The entrence into the LR is 15ft wide and I have 3 7ft stair nose peices to work with.
