Is there anywhere to buy a small bottle of this color paint besides Kohler? They want $29 for a bottle with applicator, or $39 for a touch-up pen.. That's rediculous..

Genuine Kohler color? Probably not. You may be able to find a generic color that is close enough to not be too noticible depending on where the chip is located.

Unfortunately this is how companies do buisness. :(

It is expensive to hire someone to touch up paint..and it is expensive to buy the stuff to do it.

It is like a car...or most anything else. If you have a ford..you need ford parts to replace em with.

Do they make generic parts? Yeah..but you'll have to search for it.

All the manufacturers make things so you have to come back to them to fix it.

As Furd stated you can probably shop around and get something close enough...

Thats why i carry repair parts for about 50 different valves on my van. Nothing is standard :( Bad part is those 50 repair parts don't even cover 25% of all the valves on the market heh.

I chipped my Kohler kitchen sink a few years ago and ran into the same problem. I ended up getting a close match at HD for about $5-$6. I was very particular when I made the repair and unless you put your nose 2" away you can't tell the difference.

I was once a Kohler fan, but now I'm not so sure. I've had a couple of problems where they have ignored repeated e-mails asking for help.

We got some bone and white at HD to try and mix the two to get CLOSE to the right color.. It's just two little scratches that we want to repair so if I wipe it on with a soft cloth, it should be ok.. $4 ea..

They had the biscuit touchup for @2.79 + $5 shipping.. Going to take the other 2 colors back..
Why they can't offer something as simple as touch-up paint to the average consumer is beyond me..
