I have to keep re-setting my water heater (at the water heater) about every four days does that mean the elements are going out? It A electric Rheem water heater about 4 years old. It doesn't trip it at the breakers. It sit in a manufactured home, in a closet bad design and they never put in a drain pan like I said bad desgin.

If by "resetting" you mean you have to push in the red button on the upper thermostat then you have a thermostat problem, not a heating element problem.

Change both upper and lower thermostats, usually an easier job than replacing the heating elements.

Furd is correct. Elements don't cost much...i'd say just change both elemtns and thermostats out while your working at it. But Furd is correct, your problem appears to just be the thermostats at this point.
