I recently put down backer-board and used white thinset cement to bond all of the boards together. The backer board is for a floor tile in a kitchen. I want to use grey thinset cement for the tile, given that I will be using grey grout. Could I run into any problems by putting the grey thinset cement over the white thinset cement? I believe that cement is cement, and the white is probably missing some sort of pigment. Any thoughts would be appreciated especially if it will have a significant impact on my project.
