Bare with me here guys. My husband has asked that I find a part for our used 87 Glasstream boat that I do not know much about. Here goes. When we turn the motor on we are missing a neutral safety button (?) in the throttle. We are using a screwdriver to stick in the hole to get the boat in neutral. Any suggestions on were I may find that part? Thanks.

I'm sure no authority here but I can help look for parts. Can you provide any more details? My boat has a Mercury outboard with 'MerControl' on the controls. Where is this button located?
