I have an Amana gas stove, the front burners click but will not ignite. I exchanged the ignitors with the back ones and they did work in the back. Any suggestions?

Hello John. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
Moved the igniter's? Or moved the burners? Not clear to me what is mean by that statement. Kindly clarify.
If you moved the igniter's and the burners fired up, what did you do besides move the igniter's? Clean the burner ignition ports? Ignition ports are the holes up the sides of the burners.
If you moved the igniter's themselves, why? If the igniter's sparked in the front, they would do so in the back.

I believe I switched the burners, I was thinking that the part that sparks is the igniter? If so the igniter is attached to the burner. Does that help, sorry for my terminology ignorance.
