Hi,
I currently have a walkway leading up to concrete steps. I know I would like to replace the concrete walkway with some kind of stone. I was curious if is possible to put veneer on the stairs and the current walkway. Is veneer suitable to foot traffic?
Thank you!!

When you use the term veneer are you talking about cultured (manmade) stone or natural stone ? Natural yes, cultured no. The surface that makes the cultured stuff look real is only skin deep and will wear off rapidly with foot traffic. Also consider the height changes that whatever you use creates on the top step.

You'd probably only get good results if you started over, as the stone is going to mess up the physics of your stairs by changing heights - bottom step will be too high and step from stairs into house will be too low.

Oh, thanks. If I put stone on the current walkway the height should only an issue at the door jam? I think.
