I have a light grey stone fireplace that needs something. All the stone is the same bland color. Is it possible to stain the stone to give it a nicer color? If so, how do you do it?

You can water down paint and do a wash. Of course, there are stains. What is your color scheme and what color do you need to make this focal point pop? Do you watch hgtv? They are always doing makeovers of fireplaces and focal walls.
