Phase three of the basement project is done.. as in the drywall is up, taped, mudded, sanded and ready for primer.
A simple question.. I'm going through tac clothes like crazy trying to remove the fine dust from sanding before priming. Is there an easier way.. like maybe a damp cloth? Will the slightest dampness ruin the drywall? Sounds stupid, but I'd rather ask a dumb question rather than ruin a few thousand dollars of work :D

Damp cloths are the best method of getting the fuzz and dust off drywall. You won't get it all, just most of it, so don't drive yourself crazy. The finest particles will dissolve in your primer. You won't hurt the surface of the drywall.

I usually use a push broom minus the handle to sweep off the dust, what's left won't pose a problem.
