You'll need to check with the engine manufacturer; or the generator manufacturer might be able to help as well.

You might also check with the propane company. I used to work for a company that had 2 spray trucks [454cid] with 2 spray rigs each [16 hp Kohlers] that were converted to run on propane. I don't remember if the propane supplier did the conversion or if they contacted someone to do it.

While searching for something else generator related I ran across this same issue.......I don't want to endorse any specific company and haven't done this myself but do a search for 'convert small engine to propane carburetor' and it will narrow down to some results. (I did this search while trying to find the page I was on the other day and it looked like good info there).
