I have a chicago electric CEMIG 160 T welder thats about 20 years old. Gas is escaping before reaching the nozzle. I assume that I will need to replace the entire nozzle assembly but cannot find parts. Does anyone know where to get parts or if possibly parts from newer models would interchange? Thank you.

You could be loosing gas somewhere other than the nozzle area. I've had leaky regulators at the tank, a leaky valve inside the welder and a hole in the hose going to the gun. Get some kids bubble soap, with the welder unplugged turn on the gas and brush soap solution everywhere the gas goes. If you get a bubble you've found a leak.

Thank you for your response. I was able to find the leak by removing the gas hose and blowing compressed air through it. Hose was broke where it attaches to gun, was able to take gun apart and then reattach hose.
