I a Mercruiser 4.3 V6
I am having electrical problems the battery will not go past 11 volts,
Installed rebuit Alternator
New starter
New fuel Pump
A couple new batteries
And still will not go past 11 volts
Thinking the hook up for starter is wrong.
Any ideas??
Thanks in advance

I'm assuming you've gone through a couple of batteries as they're draining..... Or did you just change them due to the readings and assumed they were the culprets? Are you checking voltage at original gauge - or with an accurate voltmeter? Point is, gauge could be bad.... Otherwise, you've got a short somewhere that is draining voltage. Electrical issues can be a real bear to troubleshoot - good luck!
