I have heil unit and when the heat is on the blower works fine. With AC the blower stops working. I have set the fan to on and it still cuts off with the ac comes on. I have replaced the tstat the same problem. I have set the a/c to a high temp and turned the fan on (not auto) and the fan works but when i lower temp and the a/c cuts on the fan stops when the a/c cuts on.

Possibilities:
1. Bad contactor in condensor
2. Short in T-stat wire
3. Tranformer VA too low.
Disconnect the t-stat wires at the condensor see if the fan now works with a/c on.
If not, disconnect the condensor t-stat wires at the air handler and try.
