My window air conditioner is stuck. It's a 220, and every since yesterday it's been blowing cold air. Usually it will blow cold air, shuts off, then turns back on as a central unit does.
Since yesterday the blower turns off as it should, but I think the condenser stays on because I can hear it when the blower is off.
What causes this?

Hi Jay11J,
It does not shut off when I turn the unit off. I can still hear it buzzing. Of course it stops when I unplug it though. :-)

Not sure, I'm at work right now. It's a hampton bay model, about 3 years old. It's runs on 220 power.
