We are very close to the end of construction of our new cedar deck and I am researching options as far as sealing/finishing etc. I actually like the look of weathered cedar (patina) and love the idea of low maintenance. What would be the best product to use that would allow the natural weathering of the cedar but also protect the wood from the elements. Do I have to wait any period of time before treating the wood? I live in Southern Ontario so we definately have four seasons. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
