How hard is it to change which way a bi-fold door opens? This door is just a single closet bi-fold. I purchased a new stacked front load washer and dryer; the open door makes it hard to fill the detergent(I guess a closed door would too;-})

I think the track on the top door header has a "locking" mechanism that holds the top door pin and this can easily be unscrewed to switch sides. Doesn't the bottom of the door have a fixed pin? How hard is that hardware to reverse?

Thanks in advance.

There should be a pivot bracket attached to the floor and to the door jamb with 2 screws. This is easy to move.

Moving the door to the other side will require reversing the positions of the pivot pin and roller wheel on the top of the door and moving the bottom pivot pin to the opposite panel.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your project.

Thanks! I was thinking it was that easy.
