Where can I find some home designs. I have some designs in mind but don't know how to bring them all together. Also if anybody has any good advice in building a house I am interested in hearing it.

You can Google for house plans and home designs. There are many magazines and books on home designs. There are also software programs for designing homes. Touring open houses and model homes will provide you opportunities for exploring floor plans. Watching hgtv is also a fun way to learn about homes.
