I recently stained, sanding sealed and varnished wood-paned windows. I got each of the aforementioned on the glass. What is the best way to remove the gook from the glass without harming the newly finished wood? Please help!?!

Use single edged razor blades to scrape off varnish & stain. Depending on how much you have to scrape, use new blades every so often.
