Hello, I am new on your forums, and pretty new in the AC world.
So, I have recently buyed a Samsung AC model AQV12V from a store in my country. Yesterday someone came and installed it. Last night I switched off completely the AC and removed it from the power supply.
Today when I tried to start it, the display of my interior unit was flashing continuously. The device responds with some sound on some commands that I give him from the remote, but nothing actually happens and the display keeps flashing.
I have red some articles on the web from which I understood that there could be a code error on my unit. Can someone tell me where can I find some instructions on how the code can be inserted into a AC unit and especially a Samsung unit? Also where can I find the service manual that contains the code for this Samsung model?
Beside all this what you guys think that is the problem with my AC unit?

The papers that came with the unit will have the code for the lights. To tell you what dont work on it.

So, I can't find anything like you said in the papers that came with the unit. But I think that I can search for the right manual on the web.
Please tell me how is a code inserted and from what device. A step by step tutorial document would be useful, not necessarily for my device, but for a similar device. I need to know the basic stuff in order for me to search for the right instructions on the internet.

Would you tell me which part of the display is flashing? Are there any digital code on the display? More details will helpful.

I am facing the same problem!
I have just bought the AQV12VBAN (samsung vivace model) and after a power down (during which my ac was turned off) it would not start over. I have the same blinking lcd and no response, except from a sound, when I try to set some parameters from the remote control.
Did you find a solution to the problem?
I am thinking of contacting samsung to ask for instructions and of course complaining about this malfunction.
