Hello, I am upholstering an ottoman at the moment and have a question about it. I currently have no idea how to keep the cushion part on the frame. I have two seperate pieces of fabric for the cushion (foam) and for the frame part. If anyone could help me as to how to hold the cushion down on the frame... please reply! I would be so thankful!

Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the DoItYourself.com forums. I don't know how you constructed the frame, so this is assuming you have something solid on top, on which to place the foam. The foam just sits on top (you might want to make it slightly larger) and then the batting (preferably dacron) is pulled over it and stapled to the frame. First staple the centers, then staple and work the corners (folding or pleating where necessary) so it looks neat, then in between. Now you can either do the same with the fabric for the top part, then add your skirt and then add trim all around to hide the staples or you can just make a slipcover. Hope this helps.
