I have a power venter on my gas water heater, and the safety shutoff appears to be acting up. The water heater runs with just the thermocouple hooked up, but the adapter doesn't appear to screw in far enough to make contact. The continuity of the shut off system appears ok otherwise. It is a Fields system - any suggestions?
