i'm going to be installing 1200sf of kempas manufactured by cantrust inc. i had pro installer come by to give me some tips and said i needed to use 45degree Powernailer with a 5/8th adaptor or i would damage the edges. he said this was because the tongue is central to the depth of the board due to overseas milling(china?) and doesn't conform to some (noma?) standards. my question is because i'm having a hard time tracking down a Powernailer can i use my neighbors Porta-nailer 401 and do i still need the 5/8th adaptor. Anybody with experience with this particular brand, wood, issue, nailer(s) would be most appreciated. thanks
