I have a Sony KV32HSR10 that also bows ) ( at the left and right of the picture. Started when set was first turned on then would go back to normal. Now it's always bowed no matter what. Any suggestions? Thank you.

P.S. I have done electronic repair work so I'm not afraid to get my hands into the set.

This is called pincushion effect. After some google searching, the only think semi-helpful is this:

Looks like some soldering and sorts is needed.
