I can't get any spark from my PowerShot water heater. Gas is functioning properly and fan is engaging per normal, but not getting any spark to ignite the pilot. Is my Ignition Module bad? It is an SP845 module and is about 8 years old. This problem just occurred today. Is there something else I need to try? Thanks for help!

Sounds like it is the module. They make a tester for those so you can tell if it is bad or not. Might try to get ahold of one.

If your really in desperate need of hot water though might be faster to just get a plumber.
