Anyone found a way to get rid of moles. Their mounds and tunnels are ruining my yard

Moles are carnivores and feed on grubs and bugs in the soil. Treat lawn with insecticide and moles will move next door. There are also traps and mole repellents available.

Go to your local home/garden/hardware store and get some Tomcat Mole Killer and use according to package directions. There are 6 worm shaped baits in the package(3 trays 2 per tray) $19.99. A friend introduced me to this stuff, I used it and the moles are gone(dead I assume). It says it mimics a mole's natural food source. I was amazed, a product that actually does what it says it will do. Have a good one. Geo

Thanks for the tip! Just poke a hole in an active runway, drop in a “worm”, and seal it back up.

well ive herd a few ways to get rid of them as ive got 2 acres of them ive been told to put the water hose down and flood the out and go to ace haedwear where you can buy a kit to put on the car exhaust and gas them and feed your lawn with bug killer cos if they have nothing to eat they will leave and get a gun and stand over the new mound and wait until the mound moves and then shoot them or go get some mole traps the only one that works and saves monet is the traps

I've heard most of the stories, and have even gotten a few by waiting for movement and then jamming in one shovel behind them and using a second shovel to dig them out. I have never had any luck with the two spear traps I bought.
Consumer reports says the chemical bromethalin is effective. That's what is in the Tomcat bait. Google the chemical. It can be quite dangerous if pets get hold of it.

I push the mounds back down and wait to see when they pop up again. When I see a raised area, I stick the hose (water) in there and the mole usually pops out of the ground. Then he meets the pitchfork.

I tried everything in the book with no success, poision, traps. (didnt know about the Tom Cat) Finally tried the water hose method. I placed the hose in 3 or 4 different sites along the tunnel trails, turned on the water at a very moderate stream as to flood the tunnels for about 3 or 4 hrs.... NO more moles !!!! It worked for me.
