I am seeing rust inside (between the inside and outside glass) of the bottom sash of couple of my vinyl windows. It seems replacing the sash is the appropriate thing to do.
I called couple of stores. They say to find the replacement sash I need to given them information from the manufatures tag to be found on the window. I found such a tag on one of the problem windows. It has the following verbiage:
JM49395
2846 PRIME DOUBLE HUNG
ANDERSEN R.D. 6/6 GRILLS WHITE
11/03/95. 33 ¾ x 56 ¾
4679.DF1175. 1.B06 139134
6/6 GRILLS
However for another problem window, of a smaller size, I am unable to find amy such tag on the window. Is there a way I could still be able to find the replacement sash? Can I use the information found one one window to figure out the requirements for the other window?
Thanks.

I'm not overly familiar with Andersen windows, but most of them have a small etching in the bottom corner of the glass. It may be very faint. But if it's an Andersen window, I believe the numbers on that etching, (along with the color of the window) are what they need in order to get you a replacement sash.
Andersen probably has a web site with a FAQ page for such questions.

And if it is an Andersen (logo etched in the corner), it is likely under warranty, 20 yrs on the glass.

Unfortunately I can't find any log etched anywhere. The paper tag I mentioned in my first message was found inside the underneath of the window header/frame.
So, now I can't even be sure it really Andersen

If it is Andersen, the logo is etched on every pane in one corner, no logo, not Andersen.

I have not installed Anderson but I have installed Revere, traco, and modern and all are alike. If the tag is missing off of the sash you can measure the whole window and then measure the sash you need to replace. Contact the manufacturer and they have the software that will tell them the correct size of sash. but you have to make sure it is a Anderson because all manufacturers have different latching and hanging systems for the sashes for instance block and tackle or just wound springs. good luck
