I'm finishing my basement, and I'm in the midst of installing the plumbing drains. It was already roughed in for a shower, so I've cracked a bit of the concrete back and located the trap in the right place for a tub.

I'm looking for any advice on whether this many joints is acceptable?

Thanks

Jon

Local building codes dictate plumbing and other requirements. Did you get a permit? Inspections? We've had posts here where people had to rip out basement remodels before they could put houses on the market for sale?

Yes I did. The reason I'm asking is because I don't want the inspector to come round and tell me that I shouldn't have done that. This is my first major project, and I'm online more often than I'm in the local city hall. So I'm hoping that the people here will know whether or not that's an acceptable looking trap configuration.

Many thanks

Jon
