We just recieved a Whirlpool Fridge it is about 5 years old we, plugged it in on Sunday it was working fine, today we open it up and it isn't as cold as it use to be, the light comes on, if you unplug it and plug it back in you can here it turn on, but it doesn't actually kick on. Do you think it could be the evaporator fan?

What do you hear turn on? There are two or maybe only 3 things that turn on: A compresor...maybe a compressor fan (not all have these) and the evaporator fan up in the back wall of the freezer section. Isolate which.
