Yesterday my hardwood floors were delivered!! They are beautiful.

Quick question though: the grade of wood I ordered was not the top of the line, but still very nice and is 3/4" solid prefinished oak hardwood. The grade I picked (only due to budget constraints) says "50% select & better, 48% #1 common, 2% #2 common."

When they were unloading it the driver said they could not fill my whole order so they gave me 6 cartons of premium/elite grade that says "100% Select & better" I think there are 78 cartons all together and is about 1100 square feet total.

I thought it was great and could not tell the difference. It all blends in and I could not pick out the pieces of one versus the other. The installers however seemed concerned about if I was happy and told me to think about it and let them know if I wanted to exchange them and wait until the rest comes in or just go with the order as it. They said they will take care and mix it all through the rooms so it would not be in one spot together.

I just can't see it being a problem at all, is it?!

I guess no news is good news? I just wondered about the warranty too, since the premium elite is 25 and mine is 15, hmmm.
