I have 2 rows left to do in a large bedroom and my daughter drops something in the middle of the floor that leaves a small hole in the floor. What do I do? I really don't want to pick up half the floor and do it again. Is there anything else I can do? Is there some kind of filler? I don't mind if the color is off.

Thanks,
Joanie

Will the dent be covered by the bed or area rug? If so, you can ignore it. It won't be easy to replace the affected board, but all manufacturers have instructions on how to accomplish the task. Major manufacturers also have "touch up" kits available. These kits may include acrylic or latex putty, wax pencils or crayons. This type of repair kit is for small scratches and/or dents.
