I've just finished building a redwood bench outside my house. Since it's redwood, I don't have to varnish/paint it to prevent it from rotting.
However I'd like to know if there's anything I should do to protect it. Are there any oils I should use? What do people usually put on redwood decks?
I'm mainly worried about dogs peeing on it, and people throwing trash/drinks on it.
Thanks,
Antun
