I've put a new porcelain tile floor in a small bathroom and now I want to install one of those corian/plastic thresholds between the new tile floor and the sheet vinyl that is in the hallway outside the door. I have the threshold, but now I realized I'm not sure how to install it.

Do I put it down with the same thin-set as the tile? Or do I use something more like the sheet vynil adhesive since its more of a plastic?

Thanks

You can use silicone caulk.

Really, just use silicone caulk to adhere it to the underlayment?

Then I can just grout between the tile line and the threshold, correct?

Thanks for the help

I would caulk the gap between the threshold and tile. Because of the chance for movement you may have grout failure if you grout the gap.
