All my water faucets work great.....except my bathroom hot water faucet. When the bathroom hot water faucet is turned on the water comes out for about two seconds it then makes a loud clunk sound in the pipes, at that point a very slow stream of water comes out. I have just moved to this building, so I have let the water run a bit but the situation remains the same. It almost sounds to me like there is air in that line only?

The bathroom cold water works fine and both the hot and cold in the shower work fine. The bathroom sink have both a cold and hot water faucet that are separate.

Do you think maybe changing the faucet would help?

Any ideas, or suggestions would be appreciated!!
Thanks in advance.

Single handle or 2?

Most likely changing the faucet won't help. I usually start (if it is 2 handle) by shutting the water down and the valve below the sink. Remove the hot water handle...make sure nothing is loose below the cartridge/stem. If you see no problems...remove the water supply and open up the shut off valve just slightly while holding a small bucket under it to see if the problem persists at the valve. If it doesn't....then you know where your problem lies. if it does..then you have a more serious issue.

Update us when you figure it out and if you need more help.
