Hi
Few days ago my unit is not cooling as normal, I clean the in door unit and the outdoor unit also. Suction gauge reads 70psi and the head pressure moves from 276 to 300 psi. This is a 13eer unit about 1 year old.

Any suggestion? Thanks

If it's under a year old, call in for warranity.

Also, you shouldn't be putting gauges on it if you are EPA cerified. Also, is the new system R-410 or R-22?

The system is loaded with R-22

Is the condenser fan operating normally at full rpm? How did you clean the outdoor unit? Did anyone monkey with the charge?

The head pressure looks a bit high for a 13 seer unit. What is the outdoor temperature?

To diagnose further we will need the temperatures of the suction line and liquid line. Also, what type of metering device, flowrater or expansion valve?
