I have a Sears Chipper Shredder Model 247.775870 and would like to remove the engine and place on the bench to overhaul. My question is: What is the proper (or easy) way to remove the Impeller assembly from the crankshaft of the engine? Thanks in advance.

A long bolt (1" longer than the installed one) in the crankshaft exposed 1" to act as a whack point; Two suitable pressure wedges (to be hammered behind the impeller fan in safe location between fan and engine block and driven in so far as to apply suitable pressure to the back side of fan but without damaging (cracking) the engine block - I use chisels); Oxy-acetylene torches (to heat impeller fan hub); 3-pound hammer (to whack on the whack bolt).
