Welcome to the forums! How long does the water come out of the faucet after you shower? Some water must come out as the shower riser is full of water when you finish, and it must all drain down. Do you turn your diverter off, or back to "tub" when you finish showering? Is it automatic?

thanks for getting back to me. the water that comes out of the spout goes on for quite awhile after the water is shut off. we usually just shut of the water and walk away, expecting the water to drain out the spout within a short time. this water drains longer than usual.

If it eventually stops, try releasing the diverter pressure to allow the column of water to rush out. It may drip for a few seconds. Let us know.

it seems to stop running quickly when the flow valve is changed. thanks
