Why would a pressure washer extension/replacement how come with a brass coupling that's 14mm on one side and 15mm on the other??

Is this a same brand replacement? While most are a standardized size, some brands might not have the same specs as another. You should be able to get the right size coupler and replace the end that isn't compatable with your PW - that is if you can't return it for the correct size.
