How do I remove the adhesive from the tape that was used to protect my windows during Hurricane Katrina without damaging the window.

Alcohal in a spray bottle and razor blades will probably do the trick. In heavy areas you may have to spray a few times or let the alcohal sit for a minute or two. Use a razor blade scraper that take one sided hard back razor blades and use denatured alcohal which you can get in quart or gallon size. You can get them at a hardware store or home improvment store. Good luck

Avoid getting any solvent on the paint as much as possible and wipe any off the painted areas as quick as you can as most solvents will soften paint with enough exposure time.Other possible choices are cigarette lighter fluid,goo-gone,WD-40 and a variety of solvents.
