Can Anyone Give Me The Preferred Method Of Changing Directions Of T&g Where I Have An Opening In My Dining Room That I Want To Work The Opposite Way From Starting With A Groove But I Need A Tounge. The Reason I Want To Do This Is Because I Want To Use The Entry Way As A Starting Wall 33' Long And Work Away From It For The Rest Of The House And Then Work The Opposite Way Into That Dining Room,

Your goint to need a transition piece, t-molding. I think this would be the easiest way. I have read other ways on this forum that are a bit more detailed. Try some searches on changing direction.

Start the area so when you come across the place you want the direction change, the tongue is facing outward, and start the installation right there.

Then you will need a router and a slot cutter with a top bearing, to put grooves in the end cuts. This saves having to groove and spin a rip cut board, or have a sliver rip right where you want to transition.
