I am remodeling a bathroom in my house and am having trouble finding the building codes used in my area. Anyone have suggestions on where I can find that information?

Check with your building permit office. They are usually extremely helpful. As a general guide, a good DIY book on remodeling bathrooms, available at a big box store, will include the major items to be aware of such as plumbing pipe sizes/electrical requirements/fixture spacing/etc.... that tend to be "universal". I also find that the permit office, after reviewing your plans, will quite often provide you a list of "watch out for's" that apply to your project.
