hello all,
i plan on mounting some studio monitors on the wall.... i don't really want to see the audio cable and power cord run down the wall.
how does one hide that in the wall? you drill a hole but then how do you get the wire out at the bottom of the wall?
seems like a big mystery to me.
i also rent in an apt, so not sure if that limits my capabilities for this.
let me know.
thanks!

Code doesn't allow you to run your power cord down the inside of the wall cavity. Speaker wires, ok. But since you rent the apartment, it is a moot point, as you probably can't get permission to do it anyway. I have run the cords from speakers along the ceiling to a corner and dropped them down the corner, attaching them the entire way with dabs of hot glue, then painted them as close to the color of the wall as possible.
