hello all,
i rent in an apt, so i can't really replace the bathroom countertop tiles...
i was wondering is it possible to paint them cleanly?
i don't see how it could be done...
if anyone has any ideas about what to do about countertops in an apt let me know.
thanks!

Yes, you can paint these, BUT, you might still want to ask your landlord. Most landlords do not mind you making the place a little better, but you have to ask first.
If painted properly, the paint will be very difficult to remove.
You start by cleaning the tile really good.
Apply some Zinsser's latex-based Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer-Sealer to the tile
Then buy some good quality alkyd oil based paint.
Remember, try to avoid scrubbing the painted tiles with anything abrassive when dry.
Grout lines will be some work if you want them a different color then the tile.
