I have a troy bilt roto-tiller. It has a 8hp porfessional industrial engine. There is a hose coming from the lower crankcase and connects somewhere behind the air filter and carburetor. I think it may be some kind of close system to prevent polution. It seems all of a sudden oil is blowing somewhere out of this vent or hose when tilling. What could be causing this? It seems to be running find except for the oil bow out. Thank for your thoughts and help.

Incorrect oil viscosity (should be SAE 30); Overfilled crankcase; Breather assembly installed incorrectly (upside down); Failure of the breather reed; Crankcase air leakage (oil seal, gasket, o-ring, piston rings, valve guide); Or, extreme operating angle.

The breather assembly installed wrong.
