Hi,

I have a DAS Nx-4 alarm with 4 active sensors I was wondering if there is any way I can add another sensor, I read on the diagram something about double zoning and was thinking if it could be possible.

I tried ringing around here in auckland and no knows about this alarm so am looking to any help/suggestions of this site.

any help would be highly appreciated. Thanking you all in advance.

Regards
Nelson

This I believe is actually a GE Caddx NX-4 system under a different name.

Be patient and MrRonFl or GEGUY will chime in and try and help you out.

You can put multiple contacts on a single zone, if that's what you are asking. It's not the best solution with active devices like motion detectors, but it will work. For passive contacts, it's pretty much standard procedure.

You can use a zone doubling scheme with this system. It takes their zone doubling resistor kit which consists of 6.98K ohm and 3.74 K ohm resistors and changing a setting in the system programming.

If you want to go the zone doubling route, make sure you have another module on the system (or another keypad) in addition to the original keypad or else you can't zone double. This only applies to the NX-4...

Part # for the zone double resistor kit is NX-200
